Ok, its 2011 and will soon be 2012, yes 2012! What do you think, are things looking good from where you are sitting? Where shall we start, maybe the economy, given that we seem to fail to notice anything until it gets up close and personal, so the economy, what do you reckon, is it looking good from your point of view?

Let’s be honest, unless you live in south America or eastern Asia the economy is, well shall we say under the weather, or shall I spell it out, its f**ked, ok next, not so close to home I realise given that we like to view the World much like the Ostrich with our head in the sands of our own little lives, but I’ll give it a try none the less, next is the planet we live on.

The planet we live upon! Is this guy crazy, I keep my house clean, tend my garden, I’m even considering buying a bike to get to work on, I even put my empty wine bottles in a bottle bank! The Planet what can I do about the Planet?

Let’s move on and maybe the quicker the better, Human evolution, how are we doing on that one? So now we all understand equality and what that really means, right? That we are all in fact born equal and only the geographical and economic circumstances of our birth effect any difference between us. Um, we do believe and understand that we are in truth equal don’t we?

What’s left, Politics perhaps it’s 2011 and we have at last realised that ism’s don’t work, ok there is one that does, ‘Realism’. We tried Comunism, great idea but it fell apart through human greed and corruption, but then of course we have Capitalism, a far superior system, right? Ask a few American republicans, but sorry, I’ll whisper this, it’s not in my nature to knowingly upset people, but sorry Capitalism is falling apart through? Human greed and Corruption! Vive la difference.

Last but not least we have religion, now religion is all about loving God, appreciating the gifts that he has bestowed upon us and loving our fellow man, right? Wrong, only if he agrees with your beliefs. You see God in his almighty and all seeing wisdom limited himself to sending only one messenger and quite a long time ago and if you didn’t live in club Med, well clearly you must be a heathen, sorry. The Australia’s, the America’s, Eastern Asia, Northern Europe, sorry, bad karma, or maybe God was having a bad hair day. The Budha, Mohamed, Krishna? Quite clearly charlatans, look at the way they dressed!

To return to the point, unless your head is hopelessly lost in that sand we need to fix a few things, agreed? So how shall we go about it? Elect good leaders, they can fix everything for us. Ok, I’m with you so far, but tell me how you are going to do that within the system that currently rules the roost. Let’s run through the list again. The economy, let’s find some really smart bankers to fix things, so far so good, but who will elect them? Fellow bankers, plus a bunch of politicians and weren’t they the ones that got us into this mess?

Moving on swiftly, the planet, the environment, there must be a whole bunch of clever and dedicated people devoting themselves to this issue, yes? Umm, well you have an American, lives in a mansion burning more electricity than Iowa, but it’s ok he buys credits for his conspicous lifestyle. You are so negative! Ok, Greenpeace then they are true eco activists, sorry, but they are a Global Company of high financial worth with directors Worldwide earning fat salaries……

Human evolution, now we all realise that we are no better and no worse than our fellow man? Moving swiftly on we have religion, they can show us the beauty of a Worldwide brotherhood of love, yes?

Ok, I’ll try again tomorrow, we have to have hope, no?

Yep, Terrence. Apply for a Spaces account. Seriously though, you have a point, and, you made several of them. My head is still swimming. However, I must choose to be upbeat--even if I have no cause to be. Regards.

One man's problem feeds another man's family. I think I'm kind of like you in that I believe that livelihoods can be created with the answers to problems rather than just creating more problems or continuing existing problems simply because livelihoods will need to be refocused or reformed to fit in harmoniously with the development of current knowledge and changing technology. Stupid no, greedy yes, but it's a little easier to be less greedy when it's not your life that is being effected by current changes. Politicians and corporations have learned to use this delicate division in the population to it's greatest benefit by manipulating the facts and the truth thereby eliminating any real momentum towards real change that would have a positive impact on eliminating current problems orchestrated by the wealthy. Change is not in the current powers best interest.

"Change is not in the current powers best interest". No and it never will be and therein lies the problem that we either face or turn our back on.

It's easy to change the world, to free ourselves from economy alltogether. It's easy to rid the world of greed, control, crime, money and government control and corruption that seems to live outside the constitution and the charter of human rights and also FREEWILL which is in all life.

However seeing this easy it seems, has become so difficult weve become blind in this economy based living worrying about how we can improve things worldwide using economy which is MONEY.

But once we see that money is the entire problem here, the one awful thing that causes worldwide chaos, hunger, poorness, greed, control, conditioning, illness, disease, bacteria, oxygen depletion, atmospheric pollution, ground pollution, imbalance in nature, imbalance worldwide, imbalance spiritually we are then able to see the entire picture here.

Get rid of money, all we need to do is live, clean up our world together as a together adventure co-operating without the expectancy of something in return for us lessening our selfish greed for our stupid money alltogether.

Getting rid of the Nuclear Power Plants and using natural energy like the sun.

Nuclear energy takes from life, taking lifes living energiesl. Why leaders choose to use

energy that takes life, that pollutes a world, that takes the life from nature.

I know, their money is more important than life itself. Therefore they have fallen spiritually and are inside not what we believe they claim to be.

One who believes in artificial energy that takes life is one who may be evil, one who

doesnt believe in life at all, only greed and control. One like this becomes diseased in their hearts spreading this disease worldwide.

Freedom folks and guess what, no need for ridiculous conversations on economy, politics, governments, bills, jobs etc. They wont even exist and life here will once again live in harmoney, freedom and creativity.

Hows that for an answer, problem is how do we get rid of the governments that control each and everyone of us?

Hi Kellie, yes its interesting, what we now call money has been with us for about thirteen hundred years, according to my brief and lazy research (yawn) and was not a bad idea to begin with, but.......As you say now money has become as a God a God we now value above all, above life itself and our self destruction? Well if there is money to be made from it, who cares!

Kind of stupid, no very stupid, but that is where we collectively are right now, so what can be done?

Do you know the Hans Christian Anderson stories? "The Kings Magic Clothes"? The king had no clothes, he was naked, but had somehow brainwashed his people into believing that he was dressed majestically, until a young boy, somehow out of the loop and watching the overwieght king as he set off on yet another grand procession saw the naked king and shreiked laughingly "The King has no clothes", the King is naked! That did it, broke the spell and the people woke up.

Right now an increasing vocal minority are ranting and passionately pointing towards the ruling elites and the power brokers in much the same way "look the banks have no money", "look the politicians have no clue", "look the human race human race is rushing leming like to its own self destruction".

Will enough people wake up in time? That I really do not know, the illusion is strong, very strong, but there is a power way above and beyond us that is increasing interceding, we call it natural disasters. Does that make us, the Human Race unnatural disasters?

Poverty drives the evolution of revolution. Strip away the last remaining vestiges of human decency and dignity and you get revolt. You know the old, "aint got nothing left to lose" saying, that alas you can not turn your back on.

Poverty inthe face of glutonous excess is an obsecinty, but only when enough people actually see the lavish and conspicuos over consumption for what it is can we hope for something better.

It's 2011 for goodness sake, are we collectively taking an evolutionary cat nap? Why even now are the rich and famous lauded as the "Beautiful People", if we are stuck in that rut the God help us!
