Hi Google.
How are things going for you?

I,ve noticed that as part of your evolutionary process you wish to define searches by quality, great idea and I do not think many people would dissagree with that......and you are going to achieve this with robots?

Just a minute guys, I know you are super clever with this technological stuff, but you really think you can determine humanities higher values with robots?

Now, to the best of my knowledge only quite recently has a robot been able to compete effectively with a human being at the board game of chess, ok, chess is a little more complex than say, snakes and ladders, but not so much so.

So you are now worth thirty seven billion, excuse me, but I struggle to comprehend such a figure, but may I present to you a radical idea?

I guess you know, or maybe with such wealth you do not, much of the western world has been in economic crisis during recent years, millions are without work and in desperate situations. They need work and they need some validity of their very existence.

Now I realise that this is a very radical suggestion, but maybe you could spare, say one billion? Start employing and start employing on a major scale. Begin to use human beings to assess, quantify and qualify the quality and worthiness of the websites that you as "Gods from the ancient Greek fables" classify as good or bad.

What do you think Google? Could now be the moment to quantify control of your quality control?

Do not be so affronted by my suggestions, you will still have thirty six billion as a comfort cushion.

I,m sure you are wondering the fee that I would require for imparting such useful information, to you, do not fear, I am but a modest man, a mere 2.5% should cover my expences.

One moment please 2.5% from $36,000000000 .............Yes that should just about pay the milkman tomorrow.

Brilliant, Terrence, well said. I think you should send it to somebody at Google Research. I'm just absolutely sickened at how they've shown absolutely no concern over the impact their move had on previously loyal clients. They behaved as if they didn't care. Oh that's right, they don't care.

Actually Sulagna the events taking place within the Middle East, North Africa and more recently Spain indicate that we are not actually powerless in helping to steer the World in a better direction. Do we really wish to live in a World where concerns of accumulating money is King and above all else?
